The E-Ticket system is getting more and more popular every month, since it is easy to use, quick and convenient. Five percent of passes sold are already using E-IDs. By June of 2018, more than 6.000 E-Passes had been sold, two thirds of which were purchased online.

According to DKV, although ticket vending machines are popular, passengers want even simpler solutions. Thus, they wish to install cash-free kiosks, at certain locations in the city, where traffic might be denser. These are meant to provide, aside from informing passengers and calculating the best routes, an opportunity to purchase E-Passes with payment cards.
